PREACH! You description of teachers v people and teachers v teachers is so real. I never understood the teacher talk my wife and her mother would have, then I joined the profession in 2019 and now, I get it.
This was an appropriate day to come back to this entry. Within the last few days I've been finding my sisters, and I've been finding my voice. I've even found my name, which I initially chose because of my hair color, but which resonated in my heart as soon as I said it out loud.
I've already said thank you quite a few times, but a million words cannot express my gratitude for what you've helped me achieve.
Thanks. Reading this article today was just the right timing. I need to find some sisters, and I'll be getting together soon with one person who reached out to me. The first time I met her, at a group event, she and I talked nonstop for two hours, so I'm hopeful...
Gosh, this resonates so deeply. I, too, have a chosen-sister. Like yours, the connection was deep and profound and immediate. I love her deeply, and I would do anything for her. We get to hang this weekend, and I'm SO psyched!

I mean... You have to have been there. 😅
Now I'll hear them trade stories and I'm all Steve Rogers over here with "I get that reference!"
Although, 4 years in and I still have to ask what some acronyms mean.
I'm fifteen in and I have to aks. There's just so damn many.
They do change you life. Oftentimes RAPIDLY. Took me 2 years to find 'em, and wow. Magic.
It was my sisters and brothers who were patient with me when I made the mistake to detransition.
It was my sisters and brothers who were patient with me when I was hiding in that second eggshell
It was my sisters and brothers who were patient with me when I started to realize the mistake I had made.
It was my sisters and brothers who celebrated with me when I burst out of that eggshell and became the woman I always longed to be.

It's what we do, Vi. We help each other up. 💜
Ooh, I like the short form of my name too! You're the first to use it!
I'm glad! Shortened versions tend to be love or hate, and I'm glad you like it!

This is beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing, and being there.
I wish it worked out so that I could have been in the photo instead of the photographer, but that was still a wonderful night 💚
It's okay, you weren't ready for it yet.
We'll be doing it again this November. 💜
